Fitness pop-up events and socials

A class, then the hang. Small events between festivals, in the cities we know best.

  • 01 Sweat

    A short class to start.

  • 02 Social

Food, music and time to talk.

  • 03 Cause

Many of them raise money or awareness.

What a pop-up is

Our fitness pop-up events are the small stuff between festivals. Usually a class or a short workout, then the social part: brunch, music, a cause. A short pop-up is a lot easier to say yes to than a full festival day.

Pop-ups and socials from 2026

  • Sweat and Social, Atlanta. At La Vie in July, then Part 2 in August.
  • Brunch and Beats, Chicago. At Barcocina, in July.
  • Sunset Reset, Chicago. On the Riverwalk, in April.
  • Be Present Social, Atlanta. In May.
  • Art of Bloom, Chicago. April 16. A fashion show that puts movement, style and our community on the runway.
  • Winter Wellness. A four-city winter run of events from February 19 to March 7, starting in the West Loop in Chicago.
  • STRENGTH Forward and STRENGTH in Bodyweight, Austin. In March and April.
  • HARDCORE x STRENGTH, San Diego. In May.

Socials with a reason

A lot of our socials raise money or awareness for something. BE Present Social in Austin, on November 1, 2025, at Domain Central Parks, was a community gathering of movement and connection raising awareness for suicide prevention and mental health support.

Art of Bloom is now called Worn Different. It has grown from about 100 to 150 attendees, and it raises $2,500 to $5,000 each year for the partners it benefits.

Strength en Nosotros, our Latino fitness event, gave its proceeds to Palenque LSNA.

Why people like them

No pressure. You don't need to be fit, you don't need to come with friends and you don't need to stay all day. Pop-ups are short. If you came alone, the social part is designed to fix that. Rita, one of our ambassadors, said each event is special "from the venues and the type of class offered." Pop-ups are where you see that most.

Pop-ups vs festivals

A festival is the big day: many classes, a vendor village, a run and hundreds of people. A pop-up is one thing done well. One class, one venue, one social part after. Festivals come to a city about once a year. Pop-ups fill the months in between, so you start seeing the same faces. If a full wellness festival feels like a lot for a first try, a pop-up is the softer start.

If you're new

  • Pick one close to home for your first one.
  • Wear what you'd wear to a class, and bring a layer for after.
  • Stay for the social part. That's the point.
