The tour
The fitness festival tour, city by city
It started in one Chicago park in 2018. By 2026 the festival had been to 14 cities.
- 01 Spring
The South and Texas: Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte.
- 02 Summer
Brooklyn, the Chicago suburbs and Denver.
- 03 Fall
Chicago, Nashville, then out West and to DC.
How the tour works
STRENGTH IN THE CITY is a traveling fitness festival. Same idea in every stop, a full day of classes, recovery and local vendors, but the people teaching and the place we set up change with the city.
Here's how it grew. One city in 2018. Three in 2019. Five by 2024. Fourteen in 2026.
2026 stops
The rough shape of the year: spring in Texas and the South, summer in Brooklyn, the Chicago suburbs and Denver, then fall in Chicago and Nashville before the West Coast and DC.
- Austin, March. Waterloo Park.
- Atlanta, April. The Battery. Atlanta had the highest ticket sales of the whole 2026 tour, and people made and shared their own festival posters before the day without anyone asking them to.
- Brooklyn, May. Bushwick.
- Charlotte, May. On the field at Bank of America Stadium, with Charlotte FC. Our second year in that stadium.
- Aurora and Naperville, June. Society 57, our stop in the Chicago suburbs.
- Denver, July. Left Hand RiNo.
- Chicago, September. The oneSTRNGTH Weekend, four days instead of one.
- Nashville, September.
- Los Angeles, October. Academy LA.
- San Diego, October. Waterfront Park, with a vendor village by the water.
- Washington, DC, November 7. HQO Events at Navy Yard. Our first time in DC.
Atlanta Life was the presenting partner on our Nashville and DC listings. Megan, from Chicago, said it simply: "STRENGTH IN THE CITY and Atlanta Life are really committed to making meaningful wellness experiences, and they also want those experiences to be accessible to everyone."
2025 stops
The year before looked a lot like it, a little smaller. Austin in March, Charlotte in April, Atlanta and Denver in June, Brooklyn in July, then Milwaukee, Detroit and Nashville in September, and Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Diego in October.
Chicago has its own history. The festival ran at Northerly Island in 2019, and at Theater on the Lake in 2024 and 2025.
What stays the same in every city
Wherever the tour stops, you can expect the same base: fitness and wellness classes by local teachers, recovery experiences, a vendor village of local brands and a community run and walk. If you want the long version of a single day, read what happens at our wellness festival. If you are packing for one, our guide on what to wear to a fitness festival will help.
What changes
The venue, the instructors, the vendors, the vibe. A stadium field in Charlotte feels nothing like a park in Austin. That's on purpose. Local leads in Chicago, Austin, Denver, San Diego, Los Angeles, Aurora and Naperville, and Atlanta help line up the teachers and partners, so the day looks like the city it's in.
Next year
The 2027 calendar is being built now. We keep a page with the 2027 fitness festival plan as it stands, and we only add a date there once it's set. When a stop has tickets, it shows up on our events calendar first.
Questions people ask
Is the festival the same in every city?
The base is the same: classes, recovery, local vendors and a community run and walk. The venue, teachers and vendors change with each city.
How do I find out when the tour comes to my city?
Watch our upcoming events calendar. Every stop gets its own listing with the date, venue and ticket link once it is set.
Do you come back to the same cities?
Often, yes. Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, Brooklyn, Nashville, Los Angeles and San Diego all had festivals in both 2025 and 2026.
Where do I buy tickets?
Tickets for City events are sold on Speakeasy. Each stop has its own price, set on its listing.
